Art By The Heart To Go: Lin is a wife, mother, grandmother, artist and teacher, who grew up in New England and it shows in her work. A water colorist first, she has now branched out into different media, finding a new love in collage and icons. She paints in her home studio where she also teaches art. Her body of work contains murals, house and people portraits, prints, cards and original paintings. She has won numerous awards. She has developed a unique interpretive style of watercolor painting which emphasizes lighting, and shadowing, giving the work a sharpness and clarity. Always innovative and looking for a challenge, this year she illustrated a book written by a local author that is now published. You will also find a link to The Sugar Cane Kids, a foundation she began four years ago after her first visit to the Dominican Republic.
